For your information, the following Fellowships (JRF) of DRDO are initially available for a period of two years (extendable as per rules). In this government job, you will get monthly stipend of Rs. 37000/- per month along with HRA and medical facilities. The details of DRDO Requisition 2024 are given below.

*The number of fellowships in DRDO may be increased or decreased depending on the organizational/laboratory requirement.
Qualification
- If you want to participate in this fellowship of DRDO then you must have a first class graduate degree in professional course (B.E./B.Tech) or (M.E./M.Tech) with valid NET/GATE score. Must have a postgraduate degree.
- It doesn’t matter whether you are male/female or transgender. Everyone will get respect and encouragement.
- Engineering degree and valid NET/GATE score in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering / Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering / Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) / Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering, Automobile Engineering.
- The thing to be noted here is that graduation and post graduation should be passed with first division.
Age Qualification
All the candidates participating in DRDO Fellowships are requested that your age limit should not exceed 28 years. SC/ST candidates will get relaxation of five years as per rules while OBC candidates will get relaxation of three years as per rules.
Some important information related to DRDO fellowships
- PLACE OF INTERVIEW / TEST VRDE, PO; Vahannagar, Ahmednagar – 414 006 (Maharashtra).
Interested candidates should reach for interview well in time with complete bio-data and self-attested copies of mark sheets/certificates (10th class onwards). - At the time of walk-in-interview, you should have caste certificate and experience certificate, passport size photograph. Paste it on the right top corner of the first page of the application. Candidates working in Government/Public Sector Undertakings/Autonomous Bodies must produce NOC at the time of joining.
- Interested candidates should have original photo identity proof such as Aadhar Card, Driving License, Passport, PAN Card and Voter ID Card etc. at the time of interview.
- Interested candidates have to report at VRDE, PO, Vahannagar, Ahmednagar – 414006 (Maharashtra) for written test and interview.
The examination and interview schedule is as follows-
- The officials conducting the program will accept applications and interviews only till 10:00 AM.
- Interested candidates will be able to get the initial screening and verification of testimonials done between 10:00-11:00 am.
- All eligible candidates will give Written examination after verification of certificates/testimonials.
- Candidates screened/shortlisted on the basis of written examination will be called for interview.
- If you want to apply for this then remember that it may take one to two days to complete the entire process. Therefore, you may have to stay at the interview venue for one to two days.
Candidates interested in DRDO fellowships should note the following points-
- All candidates should carry original copies of all certificates/testimonials with them during the interview.
- The organization can make changes in its selection process at any time.
- There is no TA payment for attending the interview.
- Candidates should make their own arrangements for their stay.
