Job Notification for Engagement of Apprenticeship Trainees in ITI Trades
Tanakpur Power Station is a unit of NHPC Limited under the Ministry of Power, Government of India. This company is inviting applications from eligible candidates for 01-year apprenticeship training in various ITI trades mentioned below. Details of trade/discipline, number of seats, educational qualification and training period are given below for application. Reservation:
SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwBD will get reservation in these apprenticeship training in various ITI trades which will be under the Apprenticeship Act. Applicants claiming reservation have to provide certificate as per government standard format issued by the competent authority, failing which their claim for reservation will be kept as ‘General’ category only.
Duration of training:
The duration of apprenticeship training in various ITI trades will be one year and the contract will automatically expire after completion of the apprenticeship training period. Shortlisted candidates will have to give an affidavit that they will not seek employment after completion of the training. For the information of all the candidates, let us tell you that NHPC Limited is a PSU company of the Government of India. Selection Process:
Apprentice trainees will be selected on the basis of marks obtained in ITI. If two or more candidates have equal marks while preparing the merit list, the candidate having higher age will be selected.
The list of all the apprentice trainees to be selected will be published on the career web page of www.nhpcindia.com. Also, the notification regarding release of contract will be automatically sent to their registered email-id.
Important Dates for Application
The starting date for online application is 10th May 2024 and the last date is 30th May 2024. So if you are interested in this recruitment of Apprenticeship Trainees in ITI Trades.
The last date to send self attested copies of relevant documents to Tanakpur Power Station is 10th June 2024. You can send the documents by visiting the address in person or by post.
Important Notes:
- Stipend: Once you are selected, you will be paid stipend as per Apprenticeship Act, 1961.
- Age: The age of the candidate applying should be between 18 to 25 years as on the date of application i.e. 10.05.2024. Upper age relaxation is admissible as per rules. Age relaxation will be given as per Government of India guidelines for SC/ST/OBC/PH.
- The minimum physical standard will be prescribed in Section 4 of Apprenticeship Rules 1992 and amendments thereto, if any.
- The preference for selection of apprentices in NHPC Limited Company will be given as follows:(i) First preference will be given to the candidates belonging to Champawat district.(ii) Second preference will be given to the candidates belonging to Uttarakhand State.
- These vacancies of NHPC Limited mentioned above may increase or decrease as per the requirement.
- An important note – Candidates who have already undergone apprenticeship training should not apply for this. As their application will be rejected.
- In case of any confusion/dispute arising due to interpretation in any version other than English, the English version shall prevail.
- If any information/claim given by the applicant is found to be incorrect, the candidature of such applicant will be cancelled and action will be taken against him as per rules.
- All candidates are also required to submit Medical Fitness Certificate issued by a Registered Medical Officer.
