Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL), a Maharatna enterprise under the Ministry of Power, invites applications for its PGCIL Apprenticeship 2024. The apprenticeship program offers a one-year training opportunity in various trades across its Southern Region-I (SR-I) in states like Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

Andhra Pradesh (Region SR-I):
- Executive HR: 1 slot
- Diploma (Electrical): 2 slots
- Graduate (Electrical): 2 slots
- ITI (Electrician): 27 slots
Telangana (Region SR-I):
- CSR Executive: 1 slot
- Executive Law: 2 slots
- HR Executive: 4 slots
- Diploma (Electrical): 3 slots
- Graduate (Computer Science): 2 slots
- Graduate (Electrical): 3 slots
- ITI (Electrician): 20 slots
- Rajbhasha Assistant: 1 slot
Educational Qualification & Monthly Stipend
- ITI Electrician: ₹13,500
- Diploma (Electrical): ₹15,000 (including DBT of ₹4,000)
- Graduate (Electrical/Computer Science): ₹17,500 (including DBT of ₹4,500)
- HR Executive, CSR Executive, Law Executive, Rajbhasha Assistant: ₹17,500
Eligibility Criteria
- Age: Must be 18 years or above.
- Education: Full-time regular degree/diploma in the respective trade from a recognized institute.
- Experience: Must not have more than one year of job experience and should not have undergone apprenticeship training previously.

Step 1: Register on the respective apprenticeship portal:
- NAPS for ITI and certain non-engineering trades: NAPS Portal
- NATS for Degree/Diploma in Engineering: NATS Portal
Step 2: Apply on the POWERGRID website:
- Visit POWERGRID Careers > Engagement of Apprentices > Apply Online.
Important Information
- Reservation: Applicable as per the Apprentices Act, 1961.
- Selection: Based on merit and document verification.
- Training Locations: Andhra Pradesh (Vijayawada, Nellore, Srikakulam, etc.) and Telangana (Secunderabad, Ghatkesar, Khammam, etc.).
